Terms of use and community guidelines
These terms explain the intended use of the Misunderstood & Company website. By using an account or submitting material, you agree to follow these guidelines and any additional terms shown by a third-party provider you choose to use. If you do not agree, do not create an account or submit material. This notice is not a substitute for legal advice.
Accounts and community participation
Provide information you are authorized to use and keep your sign-in credentials private. You are responsible for activity made through your account. Do not impersonate another person, harass or threaten people, post unlawful material, distribute malware, or misuse another person's personal information. Do not attempt to bypass access controls or access another artist's private release drafts.
Content you submit
You must own or have permission to submit text, recordings, photos, video, artwork, and other material. Obtain the necessary permissions from collaborators and other rightsholders before uploading or sharing their work. Your public posts and any material made visible through the community may be viewed by other signed-in members; only share content you intend to disclose there. Do not upload confidential contracts or another person's private information.
You retain responsibility for your content and any credits or rights statements you provide. By submitting material, you authorize the site to store and display it as needed to provide the feature you chose. This is not a transfer of ownership and is not a promise that we will distribute, promote, monetize, or preserve a particular submission. Current service limits
The public player currently contains no published tracks. The Artist Release Desk is for private draft preparation and does not distribute music to streaming services or guarantee codes, release dates, or earnings. The Marketplace is a preview, not an active sales or checkout service. $MISUNDERSTOODCOIN has not launched and has no official purchase, trading, deposit, or transfer flow. No money should be sent based on a preview, placeholder, or third-party claim about this site.
Third-party services and resources
Supabase, Google, wallet providers, social networks, and linked platforms are independent services with their own terms and privacy practices. A link or mention is not an endorsement or guarantee. Artist-resource articles provide general educational information, not legal, tax, financial, or distribution advice.
Availability and questions
Features may change, be interrupted, or be unavailable while they are maintained. We will make reasonable efforts to describe significant feature limitations accurately. Questions or reports about content or these terms can be sent to hello@misunderstoodandcompany.com.
These terms may be updated as the site changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Applicable rights that cannot lawfully be waived remain unaffected.
